Mikhail Nemtsov - Violoncello,  Solocellist Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg  
Elena graduated with Distinction from St-Petersburg Conservatoire and RNCM. She appeared in Edinburgh Fringe,  Chester and Buxton festivals and gave recitals at Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room, Royal Festival Hall and Bridgewater Hall  as the Nemtsov Duo with her brother Mikhail. Some of Elena’s awards include a top prize in Maria Yudina and Piano Duo  Festival-Competition "The Window to Europe”, Special Diploma for the best accompanist in the Mravinsky Competition for  strings (2008), Manchester Mid-Day Recital Prize and Tunnel Trust award, 1st prize in Swedish Duo International  Competition, Salieri-Zinetti International Chamber Music Competition with a CD release on Azurra Music Records and 3rd  Prize in the Pinerolo International Contest WFIMC as Nemtsov Duo.  Elena's performed with Gerhard Schulz, Karine Georgian, Garry Hoffmann, Predrag Katanic, Ralph Kirschbaum and  Leonid Gorokhov.  Elena is an official accompanist in the Anton Bruckner University in Linz and in Private Conservatoire Vienna, Austria. 
As a soloist Mikhail Nemtsov has performed all over the world. Recent highlights include performances with the  Philharmonia Orchestra, Porto Symphony Orchestra, European Union Chamber Orchestra, the RNCM Chamber  Orchestra, Liverpool Mozart Orchestra and London Festival Orchestra. Previous musical collaborations include Vassily  Petrenko, Nicholas Collon, The Nash Ensemble, Razumovky Ensemble, Alexandre Zemtsov, Maxym Rysanov, Anna  Kandinskaya, Leon McCawley and Me Kyong Lee. Nemtsov has given recitals in the Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall,  Southbank Centre’s Purcell Room and the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester as well as participated in music festivals in  Chichester, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Buxton, Chester and Salzburg.
